School Finances
Greystones Primary School is a local authority maintained community primary school. Funding of the school is via grant paid to the school through Sheffield City Council. It is then the school's responsibility to successfully maintain a budget, comprising of income and expenditure which is overseen by the school's governing body.
Details of the funding grant from government provided to the school can be found here, alongside all other schools in Sheffield.
The school is permitted to generate income through letting its premises outside of school operating times to third parties and by charging parents for the provision of childcare through its school operated after school club provision.
The school is also grateful to its parent teacher association body called Greystones Home School Association who generate income for supporting specific capital projects and needs which enhance the pupil's facilities and experiences within their school life that can't be ordinarily met by funding from the government. Greystones HSA is a registered charity with the charities commission and is independently operated by parent trustees. See their webpage here
We confirm that no member of school staff at Greystones earns more than £100,000.00 per annum.
